Mike founded Ascend after a decade of watching elite contractors run professional crews, deliver real work, and get nothing back from their agencies but vanity metrics and a monthly invoice. He built the company on one conviction: contractors who do elite work deserve marketing infrastructure that reflects it. He hosts the Mission Control Podcast and works exclusively with operators ready to own their market instead of renting leads.
Director of Operations
Charlie handles new business and keeps existing partnerships running. Years in digital media sales before Ascend taught him that the pitch matters far less than what happens after it — so he’d rather give a contractor the honest read on what their marketing actually needs than win the month. Clients name him alongside Mike when they describe what working with Ascend is like, which is the endorsement that counts.
Director of Innovation
Dan builds the systems that let Ascend move faster than agencies twice its size. After a decade in enterprise SEO and agency operations, he now focuses on product development, process refinement, and automation — figuring out how the work should be done, then building the tooling that does it. Every process he touches ends up faster, more consistent, and less dependent on someone remembering a step.
