Tie Down: Battery Powered Ladder Elevator!

Mike met with Dane from Tie Down at IRE 2026 to check out the TranzVolt G2, a machine made in Atlanta, Georgia, that is designed to save your back and your business. This is the only ladder elevator on the market that runs off two Milwaukee or DeWalt batteries, providing over eight hours of runtime to get you through a full day on the job.

Unlike gas-powered hoists, this system uses no gas or oil and is incredibly quiet, making it perfect for working under strict noise ordinances. It’s rated for 250 pounds, easily handling shingles, rolls, or tools in its utility tray. Operation is simple with two remotes, so a guy on the ground and a guy on the roof can seamlessly send materials up and down.
